Results released for Union Pacific Railroad Crossing detail | News
(KFVS) - The Union Pacific Railroad, the Illinois State Police and local law enforcement agencies partnered recently to try and lower deaths at railroad crossings in the Illinois State Police District 13 area.
The detail was conducted for two hours in Benton and West Frankfort.
Activity included two citations for rail road crossing violations and one verbal warning and one citation for trespassing on railroad property. There were also written warnings issued; one for an equipment violation and one for license violation.
The participating agencies included the Illinois State Police, Union Pacific Railroad, and West Frankfort Police Department.
